Memorial Day 2007

Today was Memorial Day and Mom and Dad took me to Bayville to watch the parade. My Grandpa is in the American Legion. He carried a flag all the way down Bayville Avenue to lead the parade. If you click on the picture with nine shot's you can see Granpa better. His uniform was neat-o but I think it must have been really hot! I was wearing my red, white and blue outfit from mom's friend Jessie. It had an American Flag on it. I am soooo patriotic! We watched the parade near Grandmother's friend's house and Grandmama and Grandpa Bernie met us there too! It was such a busy day, but not so busy that I couldn't pose for this family shot.

Dad's trip to Virginia

Dad went to visit my new cousin on Friday and he only stayed for 24 hours. Dad took some great pictures of Liam, but this one of Liam and his mom and dad, my Uncle David and Aunt Shannon is my favorite! I can't wait to see him in June. We have the same car seat!!!! We're llike twins...only I am twice his size.

Mommy's lunch date

Hi! Mom and I went to visit her friend Paige (it's a girl's name too...but spelled differently!) and Paige's daughter Madden. Madden is almost one year old and she crawls, has teeth and eats real people food! We went out for lunch and Mom and Paige caught up on what's going on. Mom said she had a really great time and she hopes we can do it again. I'm going to Madden's one year birthday with Mom and Dad on June 3rd!

Check out my cousin!

Here's my cousin Liam Bernard Bennett. He's really cute. Mom was talking to Aunt Shannon yesterday and I was fusing, but mom told me to stop so Liam wouldn't hear and know that that's what babies are supposed to do! Daddy is going down to visit tomorrow. I can't wait to see more pictures.

My first trip to Starbucks

While Aunt Shannon and Unclie David were busy at the hospital, Dad was at a Yankees - Mets game with Blake (the Yankees lost ... but Dad didn't make that bad face this time) and Mom went shopping with Claudine...she's one of my girlfriends (and she's really good at making me calm and sleepy!). So Mom and Claudine went to Babies r Us and Target, but they stopped at Starbucks for some lunch. I decided to eat while we were there too. Boy, are the chairs comfy! Here's Mom and me and a cuppa Joe.

News as big as my belly

Guess what everybody? I am a cousin! My Aunt Shannon gave birth to Liam Bernard yesterday, Saturday May 19th at 10:57 p.m. He's a little guy--7lbs. 5 oz. but he is 22 inches long. I can't wait until the end of June when I get to meet him, but what I am really looking forward to is some time this summer at Nonno and Grandma's cabin in the Catskills when we can really get to know each other. Uncle David thinks we should start planning our high school graduation trip ... I have already started putting money in my piggy bank!

Boy it is so cool to be a cousin! Mom and Dad are psyched to be an aunt and uncle too! Dad is going to see Little Liam on Friday, but Mom and I are staying home to hold down the fort. Plus, I don't want to give Liam any of my infant germs -- he's gotta be healthy so we can play really soon.

An afternoon visitor

This afternoon Mom and Dad's friend
Kathleen came to visit. I loved playing with her hair. She fed me a bottle. Now she's my friend for life. I love people who give me food, especially pretty ladies!

My trip to Home Depot

Hi! Grandpa came over today and we went to Home Depot to get a ceiling fan for my room. Mom forgot my carriage so I got a ride in a cart and grandpa had to push another cart for all our stuff. When we got home. I helped out...see? ... and Grandpa got to work. Mom says she is so thankful that her dad is so handy since everything in the house needs help!

Mother's Day

We had a very busy Mother's Day! In the morning, I layed around while Dad got Mom some breakfast and a really nice bouquet of flowers from me. Then we went to watch a little of Grandmother's graduation ceremony at St. John's. Next, we went to see Grandma and Nonno and finally we went to Grandmama and Grandpa's for dinner. Dad took these pictures of me and Mom. The last pictureshows the smile I have been working on.

Dr. Grandmother

My grandmother earned her doctorate before I was born, but on Saturday, she got these cool robes and a hood, so now she looks like a professor from Harry Potter. AWESOME! I know the robes show on the outside how smart she is on the inside! She studied for a long time to become Dr. Haller. Mom is really proud of her and I am too.

Statistics

Mom reminded me that I forgot to tell you about my stats after my two month check up. Well, I weighed 14 pounds, 2 ounces and was 29 1/2 inches long. The doc said both are 95th percentile. Mom is not sure why she should care about percentiles, but I am proud to have an A+ already!

I am 2 months old

Today is my two month birthday. And do you know what I got? I got four shots in my legs. It wasn't pretty. I turned the color of a tomato, screamed really loud and then cried like I never did before. Mom was very upset, but the doctor told her it is not so bad because I won't remember. Anyway, the docs gave me two cool bandaids, Bugs Bunny and the Tasmanian Devil. I took a good nap and really haven't been too cranky.

A fashion show

Mom & Dad bought Page McConnell's new abum and I really dig it! Here I am in a "big boy" t-shirt from Auntie Dana. It has Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin on it!

Grandmother's friend Laurie gave me this very "Locust Valley" outfit. Mom really likes the way I look when I dress preppy. Check me out, darhhhhhling.

Nonno's Birthday

Here I am giving Nonno birthday love. He turned 61! Grandma Nancy made an awesome dinner and there was even ice cream cake! Mom said I would enjoy it when I'm older. Aunt Lauren held me for awile. Ilove her alot. She's going to have sleepovers with Mom this summer and play with me.
