Bouncin' around the room

On Saturday we went to a fundraiser in Bayville. My friend Doreen was there working and she told mom to bring me. It was a lot of fun. they had food and rides and this awesome bouncy room. Not quite as cool as Doreen's trampoline, but still good.
When we were leaving the party, there was this awesome rainbow.
And Dad took this arty picture of the sun setting. The sun is setting over the sign for Steve's Pier One, a Bayville landmark that was recently condemned. Thank goodness!

Just in case

School gets going again, I have my trusty backpack. But just how do I fit all these toys in there?

School's out for Summer

School's out for summer, yea
School's out forever
School's been blown to pieces

No more pencils
No more books, yea
No more teacher's dirty looks

Lunching with the Ladies (again!)

School's out. Mom took me to her anual girlie lunch with Kim, Lauren and Jessica. I love the ladies! I loved them last year too. Check out how much I've grown:

We like to Party

We like we like to party. We're not on the Venga Bus (I don't know that song, but Mom sings it sometimes) But we're at Granny's house. It's always party time there! Here I play a duet with Auntie Amber. And then a solo number.
And here's our special faces for Auntie Dana. It was her birthday yesterday (June 23). Grandpa too!

Here's our dinner. Lobster and shrimp fra di something or other.
Happy Birthday Auntie Dana!

Saturday went swimmingly

On Saturday we went to Blake's mom's house in Lattingtown. Mrs. Baldwin told me to go swimming. Since I'm not so good in the deep end yet -- or the shallow end for that matter, Dad went in the water with me.

After all that swimming, I needed to cool off even more, so Mom gave me some Italian ice. It felt good on my gums. Those darn teeth just won't come fast enough.

Yay Italian ice! And funny faces from Blake and Claudine! Can you see the words they are spelling?

WOW! COOL!

School's (almost!) out for Summer

And I know this because last year around this time we went to Mrs. Mierlak's house for a party. Same thing this year. I played and played and played in the backyard. She has a nice pool that I tried to get near (but Mom was playing defense) and I climbed all over this sun chair.

After eating like a little piggie, I finally got tired. Mrs. Mierlak held me while I relaxed. She's a nice lady (and a Yankees fan).

Mmmm hose

One of my favorite outdoor toys is the hose. Yummy.

Mom's new camera

So We're trying to find pictures from Father's Day. Mom's pretty sure we took at least one. But a few days after Dad's day, it was Mom's birthday. Dad (and Granny, Papa, Grandma and Grandpa) got her this awesome Nikin digital slr camera. She's been going a little crazy. So there's sure to be a bunch of posts above this one. Look! I do sleep sometimes! Actually, I love sleeping. That's because I don't stop moving all day long.

Watermmmmmmelon

Mmmmmm watermelon. I could eat a whole watermelon. I promise!

Granny and Papa

Once a week, Mom takes me for a sleepover party and Granny and Papa's house. It's pretty fun because I have my own crib and high schair and cool toys and I get to share a room with Mom which means snuggle time in the morning before she goes to work. Mom usually forgets the camera so even though we have been going for sleepovers all year, it's only last week she remembered to take some pictures!
