Two weeks of fun continued

Okay, so next we went to Johnny Rockets. They have burgers and fries and other foods I haven't really tried yet (but I did have some bun -- I love bread)
Dad and I tried on the official Johnny Rockets hat. I think we might get summer jobs here together. The waiters dance to cool songs while you eat and they get to wear paper hats. Who looks better in this hat?

Oh, speaking of Dad, he put up these mega cool shelves in my room. Now some of my stuffed animals have a home that's not a wooden box on the floor. I have some to play with now and then when I am bored, some of these guys can come down to play. Anyone notice all my frog friends? And Hi to Mrs. Craig, Mom's friend at work. See I still love my wood puzzle!

And continuing with the cheesy segues, Grandma and Grandpa's friends Bill and Jean stopped by my house today! Bill and Jean used to live here when they were first married. And you know what else? Bill and Jean are the grandparents of my friend Keegan who lives in Texas! Hi Keegan! Hi Farrell! Hi Angus! Keegan -- Bill and Jean tell me you don't stop running! I can't wait till I am a little more steady on my feet...we'll have to race!

Okay, bye for now. I really must sleep. It's another busy week ahead!

Two weeks of fun!

Hey everyone! Mom has been hogging the computer so I haven't had a chance to connect with my fan base...but Mom said I could stay up late and share the latest.

So last weekend I decided napping was for sissies. I got up at 6 a.m. and wouldn't go down for an p, no matter how much I was rubbing my eyes. Well lunch time came and Mom decided I should have some yummy roasted beets. And three bites in, I rethought that napping is for sissies comment. I rubbed the beets out of my mouth, all over my face and promptly fell asleep. Mom cleaned me up and put me infor a nap, but when I woke up, I needed a big old bath to get the rest of the beets out of my nose. yummy!

Happy Hour Fun

Mom's friend Mike at school got a new, much better, job so on Friday, she took me with her to the Glen Cove Golf Club to say goodbye. Bye Mike. We'll miss you!
Here I am enjoying a non-alcoholic O'douls with Nina. The cold bottle felt really really good on my achy teeth. Those top two guys are coming in right now and boy oh boy do they itch!
Bye for now... I am going to go play in my NEW bathroom that Grandpa built for me. He's so cool!

Playdate with the Arthurs

Last Thursday Mom and I went to see her friend Christine and all the boys. Scott and Christine are mom and dad to Jack, Nicholas and Daniel. Jack and I played a lot which was so cool because he is a big boy! Jack can run, and talk and tell stories. He even goes to school. I was fascinated by EVERYTHING he did. Jack let me play race cars with him and he showed me his own special couch.

But, as much fun as it is playing with a grown-up kid, in the end, I was glad that Nick and Dan let me go in their jumparoo. What a neat-o thing for us little ones! Jump away!!!!

That's a spicy meatball!

Hey there!
I am getting really good at feeding myself. Last week, Miss Ann, my friend who lives upstairs, made meatballs. Mom was enjoying them so much, that I just HAD to taste. Mmmm Mmmmm. Delish! Miss Ann is a really good cook. She makes Mom and Dad dinner a lot. Mr. Bob, Miss Ann's hubby, makes killer BLTs. Mom said I will really enjoy them (if she lets me have any...she's a BLT piggy!)

My new outfit from Aunt Helen

is quite stylin'. It even has a jacket that matches the pants!

One of my new tricks is sliding the door open and escaping my room. Mom is not quite sure what to do about this new skill.

All of these toys, but still, opening that door is waaaaaayyyy too fun!

I'm hungry like the trout

While in Lake Placid, I accompanied Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa to "the Hungry Trout" for dinner. While they dined on delicious food, I napped...and then ate some cheerios and ground turkey veggie babyfood.
The Hungry Trout had all sorts of Adirondack stuff ont he walls, like this lovely deer head. Isn't it interesting?
