Memorial Day Memories

On Sunday Mom and mostly Dad made me my very own lawn. Check it out!
On Monday Grandpa led the Bayville Memorial Day parade. I'm so proud of him! He's the fourth man from the left.

Uncorking the fun

On Saturday Mom and Dad took me to Brian and Melissa's house for a Memorial Day party. There was all sorts of good food to eat, but I was super interested in the coolers. I love to chew on ice (Mom wraps it in a washcloth for me) and these bottles looked like fun too!

Saturday night we celebrated Liam's birthday with a dinner and Granny and Granpa Bernie's home. Here's Mom with Liam and here's Liam with his Mom. He was partied out. I was partied out way before him (I'm a lightweight) and was in the crib already. I think Aunt Shannon has pictures of us sharing the crib. I'll post those later.

Lazing Around

My fantastic babysitter Doreen pulls me around in a laundry basket so I can pretend it's my personal chariot. Well at Nonno and Grandma Nancy's there's this AMAZING chariot. It's Biscuit's doggie bad. Grandma Nancy always makes sure the pillow is fluffy and clean when I come over because I love to hang in there. I couldn't resist sharing this space with Liam. And then we went on a wild ride! Thanks Dad.

It's Cousin Time

Liam came for the long weekend (he brought his mom, dad and grandparents with him!) and we had so much fun together. I shared my toys and all the "advanced knowledge" I have from being a whole 2 and a 1/2 months older. Above I am hanging at lunch with Uncle Gregory and Dad.
Here I am telling Liam about how fun it is to get your hands into everything. One of my favorite activities is turning the TV on and off. Also, trying to open the sliding glass door and giving everyone palpitations in the process is fun. See Liam checking out the door after I shared?

Here's Dad and I just hanging out in this tall, tall tree.

At my Grandma's house I shared my toys with Liam. He really knows how to play! He inspects everything and takes his time figuring out all the stuff. I personally like to inspect everything with my mouth. At Nonno and Grandma Nancy's, I "shared" Liam's new block set with him. It came int his cool elephant on wheels that I dragged around on a leash later on in the evening.

Like a big boy

I can sit at the table! Here I am at Wendy's yesterday. Mom gave me mandarin oranges and grilled chicken. Dad ate food that looked more fun. But I do love those oranges! and yesterday, in New Jersey, I ate about 100 strawberries. Whoa!
Here I am playing with my stacking rings. I am really into this toy right now. Dad is on the phone with Uncle Gregory in the background. Nevermind them ... look at me!

I have a friend in New Jersey

So do Mom and Dad. They have two friends there. Mike and Joyce. And I played with their son, Cyrus. Blake and Claudine were there too. We spent the whole day in their house. Soon Mike and Joyce and Cyrus will live in Pennsylvania. Then we will spend whole weekends with them.
I learned alot playing with Cyrus. He is a big boy. He uses words and I was trying, but all that comes out is la la la and mamama. I am a great pointer though. Everyone seems to know what I want when I point!

Cyrus let me play with his Thomas the Train push toy. And we played in his room for awhile too. He has all sorts of cool toys!

This is Joyce and Blake. And below is an extreme close up of Mike's face. Mom was being silly.

mother's day

It was a long time ago already, right? Mom and Dad took me to Grandma's house.

Granny was there!

Oh, and the grandpas were there too, but their day is coming soon. And of course, Aunt Amber and Eric were there. And Tanya! I haven't seen her since I was a wee lad. Aunt Helen was there too. She's Tanya's mom.

We had a yummy dinner and I played with all my toys and Dad read me one of my favorite books. Pay no attention to the fall leaves in the picture book. Really, no one needs to know that my favorite books is a halloween book!
