And the Clothing Fun Begins

Granny took me and Parker shopping yesterday. We got these cool matching shirts. Mom is a little too excited about dressing us the same. I think there are some pictures around of her and Aunt Amber in matching outfits. I may have to ask Grandma to borrow those to post if she keeps this up!

The Power of the Bathrobe

Parker here.
I have been very busy growing these last three months. Do you believe that I am three months old already?
One of my favorite things to do, other than smile, sleep and make dirty diapers for Mommy is take a bath. I think it's the bathrobe. It's darn cute. I heard Grandma likes robes. She likes them so much that Grandpa often buys her one for Christmas.

Mom caught me playing with my duck rattle the other day.

Ridin' the rails

For those of you who have been paying attention, you may have noticed that my latest obsession is trains. I asked Mom and Dad if we could live in a train and when they said no, I took off down the rails like a hobo in the 1930s. Mom and Dad promptly caught me and we made a compromise ... we could live in a train for a night. And that's what we did.
The family visited Strasburg, PA, train capital of the USA. We stayed at the Red Caboose Motel and had our very own caboose, The Canadian Pacific! We even ate in a train car! It was awesome!

And then we rode the rails! The Strasburg Railroad is a cool nine mile ride on a real steam engine. Parker slept most of the ride, but I liked looking out the window and telling the train to go faster.

I took a ride on this Thomas the Tank Engine and went for a ride on Dad to see the train setups at the Choo Choo Barn.

Upstairs from the Choo Choo Barn is Thomas the Tank Engine HEAVEN! There's a store with every piece of Thomas stuff ever made, from sippy cups to the entire Isle of Sodor (that's where Tomas lives, you know). Mom and Dad got me a few things, and tried to get me out of there before I took EVERYTHING off the shelves, saying, "and I buy this and I buy this and I buy this." I guess I need a job!

Aunt Amber is 30!

My Aunt Amber turned 30 on October 7th. She had a nice party at the Thai restaurant that is in her building. She doesn't live with Grandma and Grandpa anymore. I miss visiting her there but now I get to see her in Manhattan and there's a big candy store near her house!

Mmmmm Thai!
Grandma held Parker. Doesn't Grandma look so pretty here?

Daddy took Parker out on the street to check things out. Parker had fun sleeping while we all ate.

Siskel and Ebert ain't got nothin' on me!

How many of you know that my Dad LOVES going to the movies? Before him and Mom got together, Dad used to love going to the movies by himself and sometimes, he still does that, especially when we stay in Bayville at Granny and Papa's house.
Last week, Mom and Dad took me to my first movie. It was Toy Story in 3D! I love Toy Story and am even toying with the idea of being Buzz Lightyear for Halloween! I made it about 5/6 of the way through the movie before sitting in one place was too much for me to handle. It's a good thing Mom and Dad hadn't planned on seeing the second half of the double feature.
Parker stayed with Granny and Papa. I was asking for him at first, but then I just enjoyed being an only child for a few hours. Mom says she used to like that too, and it's okay because she loves Aunt Amber lots and lots.
