Our NEW House

Mom here. So why haven't we posted as much as usual? Well, we were a little busy getting ready to buy this house! We are moving back to the LI 'hood. After searching for almost two years, finally selling our house (with a few tears of course, since it was in our family forever) we found this split colonial on a great block in Glen Cove. We are thrilled to be moving closer to our parents and I am thrilled that my commute to work will be five minutes. It will actually take me longer to bring the kids to my parents (a whole 9 minutes).
The house needs a little work inside, but we get to make it what we want, so that's super!

Take a look at my brand new push button operated cooktop!

And if you need some tinkle time, please feel free to use our modern pink bathroom!
Actually you won't be able to use my stove or pee here because these are two of our big projects.
The good stuff is a family room with a fire place. Four bedrooms. Two-car garage! AND a big yard!
Come see us soon!

For the Fourth of July we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house. They have a really good view of all the fireworks in Connecticut. I missed the fireworks, but Page stayed up this year. He said fireworks were pretty and he dreamed that he was a firework!
Bayville: Enjoy our sunsets.
Page did! and then he enjoyed the lightshow too!

One night Mom was getting me ready for bed and instead of putting my PJs on, she started snapping some pictures. Here's the results!

Yankees Rock (and so does Blake!)

Blake took me (and Dad) to Yankee Stadium for my birthday. Well, actually (my new favorite word) my birthday was in March, but the game was in June. I know it's July now, but Mom's been busy so this is the first time we've been on the computer in awhile.
The game was lots of fun. I ate that hot dog and probably 50 bucks worth of other food and drinks! And I got presents like this flag!

Here I am with Dad in from of Babe Ruth's name!

It was a great day!
