My first Day of School

Last week was my first day of school. I am going to the Village Preschool at the Village Church in Bayville. Mom Grandma and Grandpa and Parker took me to school on the first day, but first I tried on my "pack-pack" at Grandma's house. Mom got my initials put on the pack-pack but I insist that it says my name and I even spell it. I say, "P-e-e-e-e-e. Page."





The school must have known I was coming because they put balloons out for me. How did they know how much I like balloons?

Mom thought that maybe I would have a little separation anxiety after spending the summer with her, but alas, I walked into the room, saw all the toys, shrugged my pack-pack onto the floor and took off. I didn't even say goodbye! My teacher, Mrs. Sgueglia (and yes, I can even pronounce her name!!!), is super nice and has great toys.

Parker's World

Parker is holding his head up pretty well already and Mom and Dad tell me that's a good thing. We put him in this special chair called a bumbo. I like to say bumbo. Apparently I never like the bumbo chair when I was little, but now, I can't keep my tushie (or my feet) out of it. Parker seems to like it!

When I was a baby, My Tante Hella, Onkel Hans and cousins in Austria sent me some clothes. Mom loved this T-shirt, but I was already too big for it. Look how cool Parker is in it. It says, "How Cute We're." Isn't that funny?
This is another outfit that never fit me really well. Mom put it on Parker and it's a little big, but she was happy to use it!
Blake and Claudine came over for dinner the other night. Dad asked Blake to be Parker's Godfather. He was really excited. So is the whole family!
The other night at Nonno's, Dad asked Aunt Lauren to be Parker's Godmother. She was so happy she cried. Mom said people can cry when they are happy. Actually, Mom got a little teary too when she saw how happy Lauren was!
Grandma Nancy was happy to hold Parker too.

Happy Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa!

When we were in Lake Placid, I took Grandma and Grandpa out for their anniversary. They have been married for 40 years!!!!!! Granny and Papa were visiting too, so we all got dressed and walked the one block to the Crowne Plaza. The grownups had some cocktails and I had PEZ, my new favorite candy.
After cocktails, we walked in the pouring rain across the street to the Veranda, a fancy french restaurant that Aunt Amber used to work in when she lived in Lake Placid. Did you know that Aunt Amber served dinner to Bill Clinton on his 54th birthday at the Veranda? The food was yummy. I had smoked salmon. Don't ask me what the grownups ate, but I do know that Grandpa had snails called by a fancy name.

Wild about the Wild Center

Mom, Dad Aunt Amber Eric, Parker and I went to the Wild Center in Tupper Lake. It is a really neat natural history museum about the Adirondacks. I got to see sea otters, trout and all sorts of nature. There was a neat playground there too, and you all know how much I love playgrounds. This one was supposed to connect kids to nature. You know ... I am nature guy! Here I am with an uprooted tree.

"Placidly" Enjoying Lake Placid

After seeing this Playground at Lake Placid Elementary, I tried to convince Mom and Dad to find jobs in the Adirondacks just so I could play on this baby every day. As it was we went to the school about 7 times in the 10 days we were up there! check me out!

Parker did a lot of hanging out while we were upstate. I can't wait till he gets off Mom and runs around with me. Hurry up Parker!
Dad took about 800 pictures of me in these tires. I wasn't being very cooperative about smiling nicely. Don't I look like I should be in an episode of Sesame Street here?

Mom did some snuggling on the couch with us after park time. We even both got our passies! I help Parker put his back in when he drops it. I am very gentle. I know what gentle means and I hear that word about a million times a day!
Dad took me to Mirror Lake to swim. The water was quite warm!

He also did "tummy time" at the house. It didn't look like much fun to me, but he wasn't complaining.

It was a Sunny Day

It was a sunny day when Kittles came to visit at Grandma's and Grandpa's house. Do you know that 20 years ago Mom was in Tanya and Max's wedding???? She said it was a sunny day then too, but it was twice as hot out as it was when they visited.

The Other Bennetts

Right before we moved, Aunt Dana, Aunt Shannon, Uncle David, Liam and Lucas came to New York for a visit. Liam and I always have a good time together.
One day when the Bennetts were up, we had our other cousin Olivia and her parents over at Granny's. Olivia is sure outnumbered as the only girl. She was a good sport about it!

Grandma and Grandpa came over to Granny's too. I thought this was a nice picture of them with Parker.
