Happy Birthday to Me!

I turned FOUR on March 8! Mom and Dad put this giant present on my lap. Thank goodness the chair supported the box!
What was in there? A bicycle!
Thank goodness I still had this helmet from Uncle David and Aunt Shannon!
Dad helped me get my feet on the pedals.
Then he got on and showed me what to do ...
and away I went!

Mardi Gras and Pancakes

The Baldwins had us and the Intravaias over for breakfast a few weeks ago. Daisy and Colter and Henry came too. Cyrus, Colter and I got to eat at the big boy table by ourselves (well, maybe Joyce helped us a little)

After breakfast we went to Planting Fields for a Mardi Gras celebration. Look! It's Page Little Bear! Mommy always makes up stories for me about Little Bear and me, but now I got to BE him!!!!

We went on a horsey carriage ride around the one of the fields. It was cold!

Long Island Children's Museum

Parker here. I was so excited for the Tot SPot this visit at the LICM. I really can move around in there now and there's so much to do! Look how thirlled I am about going over the bridge!

Page had fun moving cones around. Before the Tot Spot he went in the climbing area outside, but when he finished he told Mom, "I don't think I want to go in again because I couldn't find the excema."

Dad says he wants a motorcycle. We like it too!
And Page says you are never too old to slide!

A celebration of love and cleanliness

I invited Mommy to school right after Valentine's Day for a celebration of love. I sang her some songs and gave her a beautiful necklace I made out of homemade play-doh and blue heart beads. Mom made some videos and she will post one if she can get it to load properly! Mom thought I was a good singer and I sang loudly and acted out all the motions.

We also celebrated vacation by taking a fun bath (we take them all the time, but Mom just remembered to bring the camera near the water this time!)

Snow and a shower

This is what I look like when I am writing this blog, that is of course, when Page isn't writing it. I am much better on the computer than anyone else in this family...but sometimes they don't let me play (it may be because I try to go to youtube and watch silly videos all the time).
Aunt Amber is getting married in just a few short weeks. Grandma hosted a shower for her. Not a snow shower, but we did have lots of those this winter. A wedding shower, where they shower her with gifts. (OUCH!!!!!!!!!!) We gave Aunt Amber a German Toasting cup. Her and Eric will have to drink from it at the wedding. Do you like Aunt Amber's special hat?

Random photos from the little camera

Mom originally thought it was a good idea to have a little camera to throw in her bag to capture those quick moments, but she never gives Dad to camera to dump off the pictures. Here's a sampling of stuff from the last month:

Page and I playing in the snow. Which snow storm? We don't remember.
Who needs a kitchen when you have a folding table, slop sink and b rand new fridge? Notice the cool surge protector nailed to the wall.
 Happy birthday Papa!

 Naked cake is the best!
But cake fed to me while dressed in my jammies isn't to bad either!

Ooops, missed some Santa photos!

We took our annual trek into Manhattan to see the REAL Santa at Macy*s Herald Square. Parker realy liked the Build a Bears that were deocrating the path to Santa.

Neither of us were too keen on getting near Santa, even though he was really nice. He did tell me he would get me a gumball machine and I asked for a real kitchen, ut Santa thought I was asking for Mom.

After Macy*s we went to FAO Schwartz. It's owned by Toys R Us now, but they still have the big piano!

December roundup

Aunt Dana texted Mom the other day to tell her that she hasn't let me or Parker on the blog in more than 5 weeks to post an update. So here we go...

I had a Christmas party at school and Mom surprised me by showing up during snack. After snack we sang songs, that amazingly, I know all the words to in the car, but when I had to sing them for school ... well, I forgot. It may have been that I was sitting next to Kaliegh, although I really like Isabella these days.

On Christmas Eve, Mom dressed Parker and I in our Christmas costumes. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's for a delicious dinner.

Aunt Amber made Parker laugh and laugh.

I did puzzles in the middle of the floor and patiently (and sometimes not so patiently) waited to open presents.

Handsome son and beautiful mom (aka Granny).

Like mother, like son.

Christmas day we woke up in out matching PJs (me waaaaayyyy before Parker!) and went downstairs to find out that Santa had been at our house to visit. Maybe he came down the chimeny and jumped over all the construction stuff to bring our presents to the living room!

Parker got a BLUE packpack, as I call it. I told Mom I was going to get mine and we could trade, but she explained that mine has my name on it and Parker's has his name on it. I got over it, but I really like blue (and Batman).

Santa brought this cool horsie for Parker to ride. I like to ride it too!

For dinner of Christmas Day we went to Granny's. She made an absolutely delicious pasta and we played board games! Santa had brought Chutes and ladders for Parker and I, but he's too little to play so I played with Daddy.
All that Christmas-ing wore us out. Thank goodness we can fit on this chair together for a tired snuggle.
