Austrian and German Amigos

For Amber's wedding we had many relatves from Austria and Germany come to play. My Austrian cousins, Christian and Nina stayed at my house! Also visiting were Marc, Jasmin, Ines, Gaby and Klaus. The last two are missing from this picture. They may have been shopping!

We had a log carrying contest at the house:

Christian was more efficient, but Dad looked fierce like that!

That's me and Christian! Can you tell that we are related? Christian's Grandma is my Great Aunt! I hope to meet her in Honigtal soon!

Nina and Christian were good sports about living in our half finished house. One night Nina and Christian made a real Austrian dinner for us. Schnitzel and potato salad in our "gourmet" kitchen!

Marc takes gorgeous photographs. I really liked his camera.
We all went to NYC one day. Mom had never been to Ground Zero. We walked all around the financial district and then went to Chinatown for lunch. mmmm mmmm.

Oh, and we took the Staten Island Island Ferry to get a look at Lady Liberty.
Here's the Gang at the South Street Seaport.

Before Nina and Christian left, we took them to the Arcade in Bayville. Christian really likes pinball machines, but the arcade didn't have any. Boo. We did play some cool games, though.

Nina was good at smashing the sharks. I tried to do it too!
Watch out Knicks, here comes  Dad and Christian!
A trip to Long Island wouldn't be complete without a stop at Bonanza. It was too cold for ices, but we ate them anyway. How cold was it Jake?
Bye Nina! Bye Christian! We miss you!!!!

Happy Birthday Nonno

On Nonno's brithday weekend, Dad played golf with Nonno and we played at the "Adventure Park" a.k.a. the Glen Cove Golf Course park. After 18 grueling holes, Dad and Nonno came to say hi and we got to say Happy Birthday!

Easter Greetings

An April Superhero Story

Parker here reporting for duty on my Dukati.

Oh wait. Batman needs my motorcycle so he can fight crime!

Supervillian Danooska Babooshka has taken the Dukati from Batman and is getting away!

Batman will fight the Evil Jakester, accomplice to Danooska Babooshka to save the day!

Granny and Papa's house

We spent alot of time at Granny and Papa's in April. Aunt Dana and Jake were visiting and there was some yummy dinners and playtime there!

Aunt Dana is so much fun. I really miss her and Jake when they are far away in California. I do the United States puzzle with Grandma and I know exactly where they live. I wish I could rearrange the pieces on the puzzle to make California and New York live closer together.

Down below is how you'll find me if I have been behaving well. Wii remote in hand playing Lego Batman. I'm quite good!

Parker is a growing boy and eats alot of crackers (and tons of other stuff too) to keep his strength up. That's a good thing, since secretly he is Nightwing -- if you don't know who that is, get up with your Batman history peeps!

Noses! How many days till you visit again, Aunt Dana?

Wedding Fever!

Mom had wedding fever in April. Aunt Amber got married, we watched the Royal Wedding and Mom had a night without Dad and she watched "Say Yes to the Dress" like it was her job.

Before the wedding, we had a rehearsal. I was very good at practicing, but it made me hungry. Good thing there was a nice dinner after!

We wore our preppy outfits for the dinner since it was in Locust Valley!

Mom borrowed a dress from her friend Nina. She might not give it back!

Amber was all smiles. Here she is with Christian and down below with Grandma. Aren't they gorgeous?

My first "Broadway" show

Mom and Dad took me to see Cinderella on Broadway....well not really Broadway, on Horse Hollow Road! Mommy's school put on Cinderella and Hammerstein's Cinderella and guess what?!?!?!? Ernest and James were both in it and not only were they in it, but Ernest was the STAR of the show!

April was busy!

Mom and I are trying to put stuff in order for April (and the end of March so We'll see...these posts might not be in order!
BTW, did you now that on my birthday, wayyyyyy back on March 8, Mom came to my school> It waws really cool because I got to "hold the flag and dress the frog." I've been telling Mom all year that she needs to come to school so I can do that!
