Thanksgiving Part IV

Oh, did I mention that I am an expert at the monkey bars? I am sure it has nothing to do with my Halloween costume!

Auntie Dana and Dad took us on the slide. They grownups were definately having more fun than us, though!

Thanksgiving Part II

So Mom and Aunt Shannon dressed me and my cousin Liam up in all sorts of fun outfits this weekend. Liam's grandparents, Grandma Reeree and Grandpa Bill live in Arizona. Here we are in D-backs shirts. Dad wasn't too happy about it, but he let it slide since Grandpa Bill made a killer turkey.

Oh, and before turkey time Liam and I went to the playground. I had to show Liam how fun it is to swing, but he didn't crack a smile. I know he was having fun, though. We communicate in baby.

Thanksgiving Part I

So I had a busy busy weekend. Mom, Dad and I, along with Grandma, Grandpa, Granny and Grandpa Bernie and Auntie Dana went down to visit my cousin Liam and his Mom and Dad for Thanksgiving. I learned a bunch of stuff this weekend with all these adults and adoring grandparents around. First, here's a game I have been perfecting...it's called drop stuff on the floor and watch grownups pick it up. Here I am playing the game with Grandpa. He's so gullible! I love him!



I also learned how to climb stairs! Aunt Shannon and Uncle David's house has lots of stairs. They looked soooo inviting. Mom and Dad promise to capture video of me to post here really soon.

I love you. I can't wait to see you in less than three weeks. YAY!!!!!

my new Flor

Check it out. I got a new carpet. It's by this company called Flor. Dad put it in in like five minutes yesterday! It's so cool and comfy. I can crawl all over it. Yup. You read that right. I am a CRAWLING MANIAC!!!!!

This is Halloween

This is Halloween, Halloween! Halloween!
Oh, sorry, Mom taught me that line from her favorite movie, "The Nightmare before Christmas" and I just can't stop singing it!
Here I am. Dressed as a monkey. I am a monkey! And you can all meet my babysitter, Doreen. She had the coolest Halloween house. And here's me with Grandma Nancy and Nonno and then with Granny, Grampa Bernie and Grandma and Grandpa. Oh, and Dad's in costume too. He's Joe Girardi, the new Yankees manager.

My new friend

Cyrus is so cool. He is three years and change old and he can do all kinds of big boy stuff. I had fun watching him when Mom and Dad went to a dinner party at Blake and Claudine's house on Saturday. Cyrus' mom is holding me in this picture. Her name is Joyce and cyrus' Dad is Mike. Here he is with Claudine.

Swing Town

Mom and Dad took me down to Long Beach on Saturday to the grand opening of Grandpa Bernie's ice rink. There's this awesome playground outside. Here I am swinging and sliding.

Me and the Arthurs

Reading is FUNdamental

especially when it involves a concert and sleeping. ha ha.

Mom , Aunt Amber and Eric took me to this cool event at Columbia University, The New York Times's Great Children's Read, where famous people were reading books that librarians picked out as the best 20 kids books. Well, even though Mom didn't help choose, she thought they did a good job. So we heard a little Frog and Toad, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Where the Sidewalk Ends and From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. Also, I got to hear my first concert...well, sort of. They Might Be Giants played (one of lots of kid-friendly bands) and I slept. The grownups enjoyed the music, especially Mom who was singing along to Istanbul, Particle Man and No!

It's the great pumpkin, Page William!

Today is Columbus Day. So what better way to celebrate than to discover something new. I discovered pumpkin picking. Mom and Dad took me to Lewins Farm in Cutchogue to pick my own pumpkin. Here's I am checking it out. I know you love the closeup of my ear!

I am so happy about pumpkins. I think I was happier when Mom lifted me off the itchy hay.

Dad is so strong. He carried those three pumpkins in from the field (Mom thinks I might weigh more than those three pumkins together!)

Oh, and today is my seven month birthday. I can get up on my hands and knees, rock back and forth and I motor quite well in reverse. Forward motion is still eluding me. Oh, I sit up, occasionally falling over, love my exersaucer and prefer standing to any other position. Okay, time for my walk!

Birthday Bonanza

You've heard of Superbowl Sunday, well this was "Birthday Sunday." We celebrated Granny Maremare's birthday with a special brunch with the whole family at Riverbay. Three hours later, we had dinner for Aunt Amber. I think I am getting another tooth so by the time we got to Aunt Amber's party at Dosa Diner, I was quite the crankpot. I tried my best to pull it together for the camera though!

Oh and of couse here's pictures of the birthday girls. Granny Maremare looks great in her new pearls and Aunt Amber is hanging with the Three Thieves and her lovely beau, Eric. He's so nice and guess what, he has a nephew who is only a little younger than me. Maybe we'll get to play together sometime!


Aunt Helen came to the Dosa for her first Indian food. See my belly? I could fit a whole lot of Indian food in there!

Big Night!

So I attended my first Big Night eating festival in Brooklyn at Aunt Eva and Uncle Bob's. I think the food was great (that's what the grown-ups said), but I ate prunes and and oatmeal and was quite happy, thank you very much. What was really cool was hanging out with Granny MareMare and Grandpa Bernie. See how happy I am?

And also, I got to see Liam again! He's so cool. While I was kicking and wiggling around, Liam just takes it all in stride. He's like the Fonz. Cooooooooool. Check out the moms. Liam and I made sure they didn't get to spend too much time with the big folks and they certainly didn't get to eat any food while it was warm, but Mom told me she was happy to be there and to catch up with the family.

Bath Time

I took a bath in the sink. It's like a bathtub made for me!

And guess what? (This is my guess what face) I have TWO teeth now! The two bottom ones. I love to chew on stuff and I put EVERYTHING in my mouth! But I won't let mom take a picture of them. I know she'll keep trying.

Lake Placid

Hey there! I know it's been almost a month since I posted last. Mom has been getting used to this new schedule of work and getting up early and so she hasn't let me play on the computer lately. It's been fun month, though. I love my babysitter Doreen. I spend Mondays and Thursday with her and then the rest of the week I am with Grandma and Grandpa. We also went to Lake Placid with them and Amber and Eric too. Here's some pictures of us.

The whole family at Tail of the Pup. It was chilly in Lake Placid. In the middle of September we were wearing lots of layers!

Dad bought this cool felt "cowboy/adirodack" hat. Don't I look cute?
